Notice to the residents of New World West, Thunderbird Estates and Gun Club Estates:
Due to the extreme nature of the storms that ravaged many parts of Arapahoe County Wednesday afternoon and evening, several roadways in your area were closed and might remain closed until proper safety precautions are made.
Below is an update of the road impacted in your area:
• Picadilly Road from 6th Avenue to Hwy 30 - closed through the weekend and into the following week
• Gun Club Road between Alameda and Exposition - reopened this morning (June 8, 2012)
Residents north of Coal Creek along Picadilly that desire to travel south on Picadilly are being detoured to Gun Club via 6th Avenue.
Repairs are currently being coordinated and we anticipate starting soon. Although the Road and Bridge Division is committed to timely repairs, additional precipitation may prolong our ability to mobilize the necessary materials and equipment to make proper repairs. Every effort will be taken to minimize your inconvenience.
