Murphy Creek South & East Opinion Poll
MCGC Neighbors would like to know how you would like to see the rest of the Murphy Creek community on the south side of Jewell developed (Murphy Creek East and Murphy Creek South).
So far, applications have been submitted that would complete the community with excessively small lot sizes, 3-story walk-ups, poor internal street design, inadequate parking, lesser design standards and materials, inadequate access for emergency response vehicles, etc.
Additionally, there is a known chemical plume that has migrated at least 3 miles north of the Lowry Landfill Superfund Site, and the current homebuilder, Lennar, has boasted about its success with building homes next to landfills (such as DADS) all over the country.
Whatever is built on the south side of Jewell will carry the Murphy Creek name and impact the community's reputation and home values. Therefore, we would like to know your suggestions for completing the Murphy Creek community on the south side of Jewell.
